There has always been a strong link with Leicesters’ pub scene and live accoustic music. In keeping with this there are several regular music events at The Pub.
Every Friday lunchtime, Paul and Martin join us to set the scene for a relaxing lunchtime break from the hustle and bustle with their own brand of accoustic jazz.
On every other Thursday the Solstice Sons, a guitar duo, come in to entertain with a selection of accoustic blues.
Add to this open mic nights on the first Monday and the third Tuesday of the month and there will always be something to entertain.
There are always certain special events happening, with bands such as Kingsize, Mick Ridgeways’ Mojo Hand, and The Freeloaders performing.
We occaisionally feature a DJ at the weekend, with Dave Mack, and The Monkey Spanner Sound System among those that have appeared. |
